I am the younger twin brother of Hikaru Hitachiin, by three minutes. Hikaru and I are both in our first year at Ouran and are classmates of Haruhi Fujioka. We tend to imply an incestuous relationship for our "forbidden love" fans. We are the youngest members in the club. Both of us address Tamaki as "my/our lord" instead of king, due to the fact that we first thought of Tamaki as "the lord of idiots."

Initially, Hikaru and I feel Haruhi's presence in the Host Club was questionable. A main contributing factor to this was that she could tell us apart with ease. To us, it was one of the first times that anyone had ever stepped into our world. Before Haruhi and the Host Club, we thought of ourselves as "our world" and outsiders as "everything outside our world" because we never had any personal relationships with anyone else.
As Haruhi points out, I am not as ridiculously hot headed (even though we look the same) as Hikaru. I'm more thoughtful and considerate of the feelings of others. Otherwise, I'm similar in many ways, and like the same things as Hikaru, such as maple syrup, Italian and spicy foods.
I understand that it's not healthy for us to be so co-dependent and that we will eventually be apart - if one of us were to say fall in love and become part of a new family.

If both of us desire something, and there is only one of that item, I usually step back and allow my brother to go forward, refusing to compete with him either directly, or going behind my brother's back.
Currently, I am undergoing a transformation in order to separate myself from my brother, though I really don't want to. With the sports tournament arc I am choosing to legitimately compete against his brother as part of a different team. I am, however, very dependent on my brother even if I hide it more.
Hikaru and I both, both bear a resemblance to the character Keigo Kuramatani from Bisco Hatori's, Millennium Snow. we all look alike and are very protective about the people we love, getting jealous whenever those people seem to be getting too close to anyone else.
